The Importance of Strength Training Program
WHen i started going to the gym at the age of 14 I didn’t know what to do or what machines to use. I didn’t have a clue about “training” or “working out”. Luckily my brother bought a couple of personal training sessions with a CPT (boy that was expensive) and I kind of learn the basic of working out but didn’t learn “strength training”.
Strength Training Program – Who Should Do It
I would recommend that athletes specially if they are involved in any type of physical contact such as: boxing, football, rugby, kickboxing and MMA. Other sports can also benefit from a good strength training program like soccer, baseball and such.
Rest assure that a strength training program is not only recommended for athletes. On the other side of spectrum a strength training program can help someone rehabilitate on a injury. Of course the weight and exercise selection will be different than of a athlete. The point being is that strength trianing program can be used by athletes, regular gym goers and for rehabilitation.
Starting A Proper Strength Training Program
Before you start any program you must due your diligence. Take a couple of days to see and research what kind of program is the right program for your goals. I would recommend that you identify your primary goals. After you have identified your goals start looking for programs that other people used with success who had a similar goals that you want. This may take a couple days but it is well worth it.
By doing this research you would be more prepared and much more motivated.
